Patience Has a Rhythm
Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.
Nature does not hurry, but it is not still. A tide moves in and out. A seed splits open in its own time, not all at once. Patience is not passivity; it is the willingness to let something unfold at its actual speed, not the speed you demand of it. This morning, notice where you are rushing a decision that wants more time, or holding back something ready to move. Patience asks: what if I matched the real tempo?
Question for today
Where in your day are you fighting against what actually needs time?
Practice
Breathe in for four counts, exhale for eight counts. Repeat five times. Notice what changes in your chest when the exhale grows longer.
