Movement Stills the Mind
The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.
We think stillness means stopping. It doesn't. A mind becomes still the way sand settles in water, not because nothing moves, but because the right motion has already happened. Walk to clear the clutter. Breathe to organize the noise. The body knows this; it moves toward quiet the way it moves toward rest. What you do with your hands teaches what your thoughts can do.
Question for today
What small motion could you repeat until your mind finally goes quiet?
Practice
Walk slowly for five minutes without checking the time. Notice when your breathing and your steps begin to match.
