Nature Teaches by Showing
Come forth into the light of things, let Nature be your teacher.
Nature does not explain itself. It offers instead: the angle of light through a window, the specific weight of humidity in the air, the small resistance of a door that sticks in summer. To let it teach is to stop asking what it means and to notice, instead, what it does. The bay does not comfort you. It simply reflects. Your job is to look long enough that your own breath finds its rhythm there.
Question for today
What is one small thing you can observe today without needing to understand it?
Practice
Spend one minute watching something natural without naming it or deciding what it means; just watch it move or sit.
