Drink the Wild Air
Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air.
The wild air is not metaphor. It moves through your throat with salt, with cold, with the particular texture of this hour. To drink it means to stop filtering what comes. Most of us live in edited versions of ourselves, sipping from cups. Emerson asks for something rawer: the unfiltered thing, taken straight. This morning, notice what arrives without your permission. The air knows something you don't yet.
Question for today
What part of yourself are you still trying to tame?
Practice
Step outside for one minute and breathe through your mouth instead of your nose. Notice the difference.
