Holding the Morning in an Open Hand
Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf.
Lightness here is not carelessness. It is the way a held thing rests in an open palm instead of a fist. This morning it might look like filling the kettle and listening to the water rise, without already rehearsing the first email. Dew does not argue with the hour it has. It gathers whatever light arrives, then lets go. Most of what we grip today will keep without our holding it.
Question for today
What are you gripping this morning that would stay put if you loosened your hand?
Practice
Rest both hands open on your knees, breathe out slowly three times, and with each exhale name one thing you will not carry into the next hour.
