The flowers are real. So is the hell. Issa knew that attention does not require ignorance of suffering; it requires a steadiness that holds both. This morning, you might notice how a single breath contains the weight of everything you carry and the lightness of simply being alive. Not as escape. As clarity. The flowers do not erase the darkness below. They grow there anyway.
