Strength Grows Through Use
The mind is just like a muscle: the more you exercise it, the stronger it gets, and the more it can expand.
A muscle does not strengthen in rest. It strengthens in the small resistance of work, in the repetition that feels unremarkable while it happens. Your attention, too, builds this way. Not through grand gestures but through the habit of noticing one thing fully instead of six things halfway. Today, your mind can hold more than it held yesterday, simply because you have asked it to work.
Question for today
What single thing are you willing to pay full attention to, even though it seems ordinary?
Practice
Choose one daily task, small or large, and do it without dividing your attention for its entire duration.
