What Costs Nothing to Keep
All good things are wild and free.
The things that ask nothing of us are often the things we forget to notice. A breath moving without permission. The angle of light on a surface you pass every day. These arrive without negotiation, without the weight of ownership. When we stop trying to hold them tighter, to bottle them, to make them permanent, they become what they already were: available. This is not resignation. It is the specific relief of showing up to what is already here.
Question for today
What have you been trying to own that might be better left to move freely?
Practice
Pause once this morning and name one thing around you right now that asks nothing of you and costs you nothing to have near.
