Facing Light, Not Chasing It
Keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see a shadow.
The art is not in banishing shadow. It is in turning. When you orient yourself toward what gives light, shadow simply falls behind you, unremarkable, inevitable. This is not denial. A room still holds its corners. But your eyes adjust to illumination instead of strain in dimness. The body knows the difference between seeking and being found. Today, notice: what happens when you stop fighting the dark and simply face the source.
Question for today
What would change if you stopped trying to see around your doubt and turned toward one small thing that still calls your attention?
Practice
Turn your chair or body toward a window or lamp right now and sit for two minutes without your phone.
