One Task, the Whole Heart
The dedicated life is the life worth living. You must give with your whole heart.
Wholeness is rarely grand. It is the kettle you actually watch, the letter you finish instead of half-writing, the friend who gets your eyes and not your nod. A divided heart leaks; it gives a little to everything and arrives nowhere. This morning, dedication might be one task held until it is done, the way an exhale is allowed to finish before the next breath begins. Nothing heroic. Just nothing held back.
Question for today
What is one thing you can give your whole attention to before noon?
Practice
Breathe in for four counts, hold for seven, and exhale for eight, three times, then begin your first task without touching anything else.
