When Enough Arrives Without Asking
At some point in life the world's beauty becomes enough.
Enough is not the same as settling. It is the moment the hand stops reaching for the phone to prove the morning happened. Most days we treat beauty as a down payment on something better coming. Then, without ceremony, we notice the cup is warm, the breath is moving, the light is doing what light does, and nothing needs to be added. Wanting rests. Attention takes its place.
Question for today
What did you already have this morning that you forgot to count?
Practice
Hold your cup in both hands for one minute, and each time you want to reach for something else, return to its warmth instead.
