Yes to What Remains
For all that has been, thank you. For all that is to come, yes.
Gratitude is simple, almost easy. We can look back and catalog what shaped us. But yes, the forward-facing one, requires something else entirely. It asks us to consent to the unknown without knowing what we're consenting to. Not optimism. Not faith. Just a clearing of the throat, a readiness. This morning, before you plan or predict, what if you simply said yes to the day arriving as it will, not as you've arranged it to be?
