Moving With What Arrives
The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
Change doesn't wait for permission or readiness. It comes, and we meet it either with resistance or with a kind of active surrender. Plunging in means stopping the conversation with what was, and instead learning the shape of what is. The dance isn't graceful at first. Your feet find the rhythm by moving, not by thinking. This morning, notice where you're still bracing against something. That tension is the place to soften into.
Question for today
What small change in your day are you resisting, and what would it feel like to move with it instead?
Practice
When something unexpected happens today, pause, take one full breath, then respond rather than react. Notice the difference.
