Possibility Lives in Restraint
I dwell in Possibility.
Possibility is not the same as optimism. It is the sharp clarity that comes when you stop insisting the world should be otherwise. This morning, sit with what is actually here: your breath, the light as it arrives, the weight of your body in the chair. Dickinson knew that possibility opens not through wishing but through paying attention to what remains, what persists, what has not yet closed. This is how we dwell there.
Question for today
What would you notice if you stopped trying to change it?
Practice
Sit for one minute and watch your thoughts pass without reaching for any of them. Name them silently, then let them move on.
