Never Too Late to Begin

For what it's worth, it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you're proud of, and if you find you're not, I hope you have the strength to start over.

The weight of "too late" is mostly fiction. What Fitzgerald understood is that regret and possibility live in the same moment, and the choice between them happens now, not someday. Starting over is not dramatic. It is small. It is the decision to show up differently in the next conversation, the next hour, the next choice that arrives at your hand.

Question for today

What small thing would you do first if you believed you had permission to change direction?

Practice

Write down one behavior or habit you want to stop, then name one specific action you will do instead, starting today.
